Wet Doggie

While checking out my other boat HOOT, and pumping out my dog Kokini decided to climb out on a narrow ledge at the sea wall with no space to turn around. I call her and she tried to turn around and fell in.

On the plus side, she swam OK, swam time when I called her, and she got a bath tonight.

Fuel Tank Mount

The bottom portion of the tank mount is done, completed by Ron. A minor amount if grinding is needed, followed by fastening with screws and tabbing it in.

Since I ran out of epoxy, I made a jig to hold the horizontal plywood (cut by Ron) that will be used for the tank mount. I can use it again on the other side.

Ron also cut two shelf pieces. I will need to cut these down a bit.

My plan for tomorrow is to tab in one side of the tank mount and the shelf on the opposite side. Then switch off and do the others the following day.

Filliting the Salon

I spend way too much epoxy and West System 403 filler making fillets for the salon. Next time I will be sure to angle the clears used to attach the front face of the settee to facilitate tabbing.

As it is I ran out of epoxy and still have 25% left to do. Still, the stitched mat tape is cut and ready to tab in; this task should be finished tomorrow.
